As many of you know, I’m ALL about purchasing KEY PIECES that will last a lifetime. I would much rather spend a bit more money knowing that I will have something for years rather than impulsively buying something that I may wear for just a season. As my friend Belinda puts it, I’m all about the “timeless-not-trendy,” which is the theme of her blog. And speaking of timeless, one of my most favorite key pieces is my Delicate Raymond 30 inch Vintage Monogram. I was introduced to this darling boutique by way of my friend Emily Loftiss a few years back. I finally snagged one in June 2013 (thanks to my bridesmaids), and I’ve worn this necklace almost daily since receiving it and have gifted 2. In fact, 9 of my friends now own this piece as well! Needless to say, I am in love with this necklace. I love it sooo much that I am considering purchasing a 16inch so I can layer it with the 30inch!
During my spring trip to New York City, I ventured down to the LES (Lower East Side) to meet Michelle, the owner of Delicate Raymond. Naturally, we hit it off and have stayed in contact. I absolutely love the gold monogrammed necklace from Delicate Raymond. I’m getting married this New Year’s eve and I can’t think of a better way to showcase my new last name initial “N”. And let’s be honest to remember my new last initial until I’m used to it.
I am not used to wearing a long necklace, but like you, have been careful to choose pieces I would use regularly and would be timeless. This is exactly what I have been searching for! It is beautiful and I Would LOVE to have this necklace with an S. I tend to choose most initial pieces with my last name so that I can pass down to my girls when they get older.
