A Dose of NYE Style + Hair Inspo

And we are TWO SLEEPS away from NEW YEARS EVE! Just in case you missed the excitement in that first sentence, I’m pretty jazzed for NYE. In fact, it’s one of my favorite holidays! There’s just some about getting dressed up, going out for a steak dinner, sipping fake champs and staying up until midnight that makes my heart sing! And yes, I’m fully aware that I sound amazingly corny. haha. Jason doesn’t understand my obsession, but he is kind of enough to entertain me and make sure we have dinner reservations somewhere (I sent him a list this morning of possible places)! I feel confident in saying, he loves me!

When it comes to NYE style, I think that every gal should seize this opportunity to get jazzed up. Whether it be for drinks with your girlfriends or dinner with your main squeeze or just hanging out with family, you should be looking and feeling your best! I would even venture to say it’s important to end the year in style, as well as enter the new year in style…ya know…making it symbolic. I digress! With a passionate love for the more fanciful and girlie things in life, Emily Brunotte of Champagne In The Rain and I teamed up to show you our New Year’s Eve style. Also, we are proud to say that both of these dresses are incredibly affordable and likely can still be found at Express or H&M. Let’s be honest, not all of us gals have our looked perfectly ironed out for the evening and that’s ok! There’s still time to shop tomorrow : )

In addition to finding some perfectly chic dresses for NYE, Emily and I got a dose of hair glam from The Blowout Bar. Just as I’ve mentioned in the last two blog post (HERE and HERE), making sure you are beautified (aka your makeup, nails, and hair) for the evening is an easy way to feel instantaneously chic for your night out on the town! Having those tresses on slayed is a must for a festive holiday. During our visit to The Blowout Bar, we received THM Hair Extensions, along with instructions on how to properly hair from them and install them! There’s no denying it..there’s something truly magical about hair extensions and how much life they give you! My outfit went from GOOD to GREAT thanks to a little extra hair love. Over the coming weeks, Emily and I will both be sharing more hair inspiration, as we incorporate these extensions into our lifestyles!
