Although I am a lover of all things summer, I must admit…I do love a good sweater, some riding boots and candy corns. The weather is starting drop here in the Mid-Ohio Valley so I’ve slowly began pulling out some of my favorite fall pieces. Right now we have those days were its cool in the mornings and evenings and sorta warm during the day aka perfect layering weather. Before these days are completely gone and I’m living in a polar vortex for 6 months, I want to embrace wearing dresses/skirts without tights! On a random side note, am I the only one who finds tights itchy and annoying? Ugh. And oh yes, let’s applaud Kimberly for finding this dope car junk yard (hence the title) out in the middle of Nowhere, Ohio. Absolute perfection.

I am typically anti-jersey dress, but now that I discovered a couple of ways to wear it without showing every curve in my body, I am totally a fan! It’s a great basic to have in your closet for layering looks. I would recommend that you go up a size for length! They have a tendency to ride up when you’re walking and that’s not cool. Or at least I don’t think it is! Don’t be the cupcake. It’s not becoming. LOL.

You gals already know I feel about butt coverage! I love how this sweater completely covers the back-side. Also, if you don’t have an off the shoulder sweater, you need one! Yes, they are hard to come by, but I have a little secret for ya…you can do it yourself! I purchased this sweater last fall from American Eagle. In hopes of making it “off the shoulder” I snagged it in a medium, washed it in cool water, gently pulled at the necklace (while wet) to stretch it out and hung it on a hanger to dry. I believe I repeated this process 3 times until it was to my liking. Super easy and it totally works!

I’m thinking that I need to own this clutch in all nine colors. It’s seriously the best clutch that I’ve carried and I’m pretty positive that I’ll never carry another brand! Once you experience the luxurious-ness of this bag, you’ll understand my rant. It’s FAB!

What I love most about this look is how seamless the lines are! Everything just flows beautifully. It’s a very simple, no fuss, but casually elegant outfit that screams FALL.

I encourage you to enjoy the last few weeks of bare legs, purchase a jersey dress, and LAYER! And…say goodbye to this blog design. Next week there just may be something brand new for you to view! Stay tuned : )
