Hello 2019. After some much needed time to recharge physically, emotionally and spiritually, I am feeling super ready to take this year on! For as long as I can remember, I’ve always been the kinda gal who admired new beginnings…birthdays, new year, new school new year, etc. It’s that Type A thing in me!
2018 was a big year for me! Perhaps one of the most amazing things that 2018 allowed for me was the opportunity to GROW. And when I say grow, I am talking about emotional growth. Whew, I did not realize how many blind spots I had in that area and am so thankful for the conflicts, the challenges, the disagreements that have allowed me to acknowledge this was an area of my life that needed some attention. Seeing the fruit of dealing with this rather complex area of “Candace” has me all kinds of excited for 2019! Like truly.
Being the Type A person that I am, I took last week to really reflect on my goals and how I want to approach achieving them. Without question, my dreams are the same! In fact, I feel confident in saying that I am already living out my dreams. But in order to take those dreams to the next level, there’s a certain responsibility that comes along with it. For me personally, I believe 2019 will be a year of continued refining, trusting my heart and peace. Lots of peace! As best as I can, I am going to walk through this year confidently knowing who I am and what I am capable of. I will walk through this year with boldness and grace. I will walk through this year being my true authentic self while growing in the process.
2019, I have a feeling you will be my best year yet!
