Sooo, August 1st is TOMORROW…which means it’s basically time for me to start talking back to school style. But here’s the truth, I have about 9 sets of summer photos (including this look) that I still need to post! Yikes. So, if it’s ok with you cool cats, we are going to pretend that Summer is still in full swing as I share these looks here on the site. But really though…no one ever wants summer to actually be over! Haha. I will interrupt our “end of Summer” series with a little back to school action courtesy of Polaris Fashion Place! But in the meantime, here’s one of the many late summer looks I have for ya.
Nothing majorly spectacular about these pieces, but I do think they were well put together! When I’m wearing more playful prints like lemon, I really like to invest the extra effort in elevating the entire look so it feels mature…I hope that makes sense. For that elevating, so to speak, I really focused on the accessories and I would have to say, mission accomplished. The boater hat, sunnies, sandals (or as my sister would call them…my woman at the well shoes) and handbag paired with the bright lip, really sealed the deal!
Well, that’s all I got for ya today! Off to finish setting up the Sherri Hill showroom for Market. And yes, it’s already that time of YEAR. The collection for spring is BEYOND and I can’t wait to share with you lovelies later this Falll.
