Emerald Eyes. Pretty clever name for a post, huh? Wish I could take credit, but I gotta give props to my sister-in-law, Katelyn for sharing her creative brain with me. And speaking of Katelyn, you guys may have noticed on Instagam the {seemingly overwhelming} amount of images showcasing the splendor of North Carolina. Welp, during Thanksgiving break, we made a trip down to see them {Katelyn, Chris and Rae}, so I had the chance to capture some fresh new scenery.

While the fall foliage definitely did a number on my heart, I have truly fallen in love with one special place…Brewery Bhavana. Ahh, sheer wanderlust. Imagine the most perfectly curated restaurant, flower studio and bookstore combined in one…yup…that’s Brewery Bhavana. This place is so incredibly cool that Forbes recently named Bhavana ONE OF THE TEN coolest places to eat in the World. Ahh, freaking impressive. For a little quality sister time, Katelyn and I enjoyed House Salads and General Tso Chicken. I’m literally drooling thinking about it.

Now that I’ve sung the praises of Bhavana, let’s talk about this holiday look. As I’ve said on many occasions, I really enjoy creating holiday looks that aren’t so predictable. A little pop of a little something that makes it unique is always the natural direction for me to take when it comes to holiday styling. With this shade of green being so popular for the season, I just knew that I could not say no to it. However, rather than styling it with the traditional and expected gold and red, I opted for blue and silver. The touches of blue give it just enough holiday juxtaposition to stay on edge. To keep the look clean, I opted for a natural colored lip with just a touch of sparkle. I can’t lie, this look perfectly paired with Brewery Bhavana is giving me all da life.
