I can deny it no longer…I’ve joined the Podcast Phenomenon. I know, I know. Us podcast listeners are strange folks. It’s totally one of those things that you love or hate. To be completely honest, I thought I was gonna be a total podcast hater, but I’m soooooooo into it. As a stylist, I spend a lot of time in the car and listening to podcasts has allowed me to keep my usual intake of educational, inspiring and motivational content. I’m the gal who typically has 5 million different articles opened in her browser without the slightest idea as to when I’ll get around to reading them! I really love learning. From spiritual growth to further understanding the fashion space, I firmly believe in expanding yourself. One of the easiest ways you can do that is by being intentional, dedicating time to learning and being open to receive. While I have not 100% mastered this concept, I do feel that I have a pretty good handle on it, which is why I wanted to share some of my current favorite podcasts!

The Porch- Being a millennial, believing in the 21st Century isn’t always easy. In fact, with the heartbeat of today’s culture, it’s hard. I discovered The Porch podcast through my friend Taylor when I was sharing my need for daily devotion in my life. The Porch is a church made up of 20 to 30-year-olds in Texas and y’all…they preach the truth in such a way that it makes you further long to follow Him. There’s so much good content that The Porch podcast is the only faith-based podcast I’m listening to these days. I will seriously be sad when I’ve listened to every episode.

The Business of Fashion- I’ve been a fan of BOF for some time, but now that they have a podcast, I’m alll the more obsessed. Just in case you haven’t picked up on the focus of this podcast, it’s all about the business of fashion. From digital marketing to fashion education, this podcast allows you to hear from some of the movers and shakers of the industry!

Fashion No Filter- Hosted by fashion journalists Camille Charriere and Monica Ainley, this fashion podcast gives you more of a #BTS view of the industry! Also, these fashion gals are British, which makes the podcast all the more enjoyable. Love their accents!

A Drink with James- The state of marketing is always changing in the influencer space, so when it comes to hearing the truth, I’m gonna go with A Drink with James. James is the mastermind behind Fohr Card, an influencer/brand platform, and each week he drops some wisdom! Without question, this is one of the best podcasts you can listen to if you are an influencer, interested in understanding them, etc.

The Glossy Podcast- I recently discovered The Glossy Podcast, and I sure do love it. It’s similar to BOF, but with it’s own unique twist. The eposide I just listened to with Mara Hoffman was truly eye-opening and completely insightful! If you want to understand fashion beyond the surface level, listen to The Glossy!

Monocycle- I’ve always been a fan of Leandra Medine Cohen, the curator of Man Repeller. I think she’s incredibly unique and confident! The Monocycle Podcast is a quick 10 digest with Leandra Medine herself. Sometimes she’s solo and other times she has a guest! Favorite episode to date is Ep 63 about Self-Esteem. You need to listen for sure!

What We Do- Another new found podcast love is What We Do by the lovely Kira Kazantsev. I’ve known Kira for some time now and she’s an all-around girl boss. Hard worker, passionate and creative. Also, I should mention, she’s a former Miss America! Kira launched What We Do just a short while ago and I’m pretty obsessed. The podcast features amazing women who have an inspiring story or journey to share. From business executives to bloggers, this podcast will leave you inspired for sure!

And that’s a wrap my friends! I recently picked up a few more podcasts and will definitely report back with my thoughts! In the meantime, listen to these and let me know what you think!
