Just as our last big snow was falling, I started preparing a couple of winter-to-spring looks to share with you all and this is one of them! This winter was brutally cold for a very long time! So, even though Spring was on the horizon, there were still a couple of days when it was pretty chilly out. Rather than defaulting to my oversized wool coat or the puffer jacket, I did a little lite layering with this poncho and a turtleneck. Surprisingly it was just warm enough (well, until the wind got violent). And of course, I had to find an excuse to wear my wonderful black H&M felt hat. Yet another reason why I chose the poncho and turtleneck in darker colors, rather than lighter! I then added a basic straight leg jean that I then cuffed and these super cute and comfortable ankle boots by BCBG. To finish the look, I wanted to brighten it up and not make it sooo dark, since this is a winter-to-spring look. So, I added my tan mini Coach bag and bright lip!

I have one more look to share with you guys that has a snowy background and then I PROMISE we will be done with snow for this year! Also, I’m currently in Atlanta working this week. The weather here is absolutely amazing! I fly back home on Saturday AM and once I get off the plane, I have a wedding to attend. Eeeek. Life is crazy, but amazing. Really amazing! Thank you for being soooo patient with me the past two weeks, while I’ve traveled it bit! It means more than you know : )
