It’s hard to believe that this week basically marks a month since the crowning of a new Miss America! Time surely is flying by this year. And yes, I say that every year.

As promised on Instagram, here’s a better look at what I wore to the Miss America pageant! As many of you already know, I’m head over heels for all things Sherri Hill when it comes to evening wear. When attending final night at Miss America, you literally see a little bit of everything. Long dresses, short dresses, no dresses, dressy, not dressy..you get my point. When in situations such as these I really like to play it safe by being somewhere in the middle, hence the cocktail dress. What I love most about this dress, besides the amazing color, is the playful, yet refined tone it exudes. The embellished halter top and open back paired with a pleated taffeta skirt…SWOON. I’m all about classically edgy. Now, if I could just live in this dress (or any Sherri Hill dress), all would be right with the world!
