One of the things that I love most about this time of year are the dreamy fall hues! There’s just something about a relatively neutral palette paired with a burnt orange or a deep burgundy that literally makes me weak in the knees. Ok…that may be an exaggeration, but I’m just trying to effectively communicate how much I love the colors of fall.

While in Atlantic City for Miss America, I had one day of down time, so of course I went shopping {and bought things that I didn’t need, but convinced myself that I needed them}. Out of fear of ruining my Louboutins, I popped in to ALDO to see if they had a suitable pair of shoes that I could wear for finale night. As you all know, I ended up wearing my Louboutins, which means that I didn’t purchase any shoes from ALDO, but I did find a pretty dreamy hat that was calling my name. Despite my better judgment, I tried it on, fell in love, Facetimed Jason and asked him to financially support my hat fetish, received the answered I was looking for, grabbed a few more things en route to the counter and made my purchases. With not one pound to spare in my suitcase, I ended up wearing the hat on my return flight home.

Since Miss America, life has been non-stop busy. But last week I managed to find a little time to appropriately style my newest treasure. And I must say that I love her even more than I did when I purchased her : ) Oh, and how about the new sunnies? The same day that I was planning this look, I received some eyewear goodies in the mail from the Kenmark Group and just had to incorporate a pair. They are called the Bibi by Zac Posen and I’ve basically been living in them since last Wednesday’s shoot!

Well, I’m done with my random musings! Jason returns home from Brazil today and I have a major honey do list to complete before 1PM…YIKES. Have a great weekend and I will meet you back here on Monday with a brand new look!
