For those of you who’ve been with me for awhile now, you may remember a post from last May about Columbus’ annual d3 event (aka Dine. Drink. Dress.). As mentioned in last year’s post, d3 is an annual event that supports the efforts of Dress For Success Columbus, which is a massive, international, not-for-profit organization “that promotes the economic independence of disadvantaged women by providing professional attire, a network of support and the career development tools to help women thrive in work and in life.” To put it simply, its an organization that provides unique opportunities for women to transform their professional lives, which as a result improves their overall quality of life. While Dress for Success is supported in many ways, one of the annual fundraisers for the Columbus chapter is Dine. Drink. Dress. Held in mid-June, this party with a purpose combines fashion, music, philanthropy and networking. Oh, and not to mention, the yummy eats from some of Columbus’ best locally-owned restaurants. In addition to the philanthropic mission this event contains, one of the things I love most is seeing how native Cbus businesses come together and support one cause! With fashion being such a HUGE part of the event’s theme, much like last year, I again wanted to showcase a few possible d3 looks from a local boutique, Vernacular. Vernacular is this super cool apparel, accessory and lifestyle boutique with locations in both Grandview and German Village. They have a relaxed atmosphere with the most laid-back staff you’ll ever meet. Also, I should mention that the prices are INCREDIBLY AFFORDABLE, all while giving you quality, long lasting pieces.

Knowing that weather tends to be particularly warm in June, I decided to approach things more casually for this year’s d3 wardrobe roundup! I’ll be wearing one of these three dresses next Thursday…any guesses on which one?

If you’re interested in attending this year’s Dine.Drink.Dress event, visit www.d3cmh.com for more details!  And lastly, if you would like to purchase any of theses dresses pictured above, please contact Vernacular by calling (614) 485-9039

This post is kindly brought to you by Dine. Drink. Dress. All thoughts and opinions remain my own.
