Age of Adaline

Ok, where do I even begin. Firstly, I love Blake Lively. I have loved her ever since I became a Gossip Girl fan. While I am not 100% proud that I was obsessed with that (because it was completely melodramatic, unrealistic and stupid, now that I look back), I always loved Serena van der Woodsen…primarily because of her amazing physique and wardrobe. So naturally, when I heard about Age of Adaline, I was super stoked.

Y’all, this movie is EVERYTHING. Seriously, the best film that I have seen in ages (haha. ages). I won’t give too much of the movie away, but you definitely need to see it. Not only is the storyline amazing, but the wardrobe…OMG the wardrobe…is simply to die for. In the film, Lively plays a young woman who was born in the early 1900s and does not age past 29. In understanding the time reference, you’ll notice that Adaline’s style has a beautiful late 20’s/30’s flare. Lots of classic, vintage pieces that any girl would swoon over. And speaking of swoon, here’s a little peek at some of my favorite looks from the movie, as well as a few looks from Lively’s press tour for Age of Adaline. I feel 150% comfortable in saying that Blake Lively just became the new Sarah Jessica Parker for  the millennials. Yaaasssss!

Amazingness, right? If you have some free time this weekend, I BEG YOU, please go see this movie. That way we can talk about it some more. I’m literally obsessed. Oh, for those of you who don’t know, Blake Lively runs the site called PRESERVE.us. It’s kind of amazing and yes you need to check it out. Ok, I’m done oozing over Blake Lively.
