Apple Orchard | Live Love and ReadALL IMAGES  Kimberly J Photography

I must admit..I’m a little lost for words with this post, because I’m so obsessed with how well the photos turned out. Kimberly normally sends me 18 to 21 images per blog shoot, and she sent me 39 from our apple orchard adventure! So, if you are wondering why there are a million photos in this post, that’s why. Any who, as corny as this is going to sound, I’ve always dreamed of going to an apple orchard while wearing plaid and picking apples with a cute market monogram bag! You know, a typical L.L. Bean or Ralph Lauren fall advertisement. Just two weeks ago, I snagged the cutest Free People Inspired Flannel Shirt  from my friend Jennifer’s Poshmark shop and just knew that it was the perfect plaid for my apple orchard/plaid/monogram dream. My goal in creating this look was really to embrace the traditional Americana style while also giving it a little edge. I feel pretty confident in saying, I achieved my goal…#winning. With Americana style, every element and/or accessory counts. So rather than wearing my gold Michael Kors watch, I opted for my Daniel Wellington Watch as the leather better suited the Americana aesthetic. Another example can be found in my lipstick. I typically opt for brighter red lipsticks, but for this look I chose a much deeper shade of red.

If you didn’t know, I am a huge monogram lover, which is pretty normally considering that I am from the South. How adorable is this custom market tote by Crown by RC? While at Miss America, this company had the cutest little booth at the trade show and I literally wanted to buy everything for the simple fact that it could be monogrammed. Knowing that Jason would be kill me if I returned home with oodles of monogrammed things, I settled for this beautiful khaki tote and selected a chocolate brown monogram (my favorite color for monogramming). I’m pretty sure I will be gifting this exact tote to a few peeps for Christmas this year!

And lastly, Lynd Fruit Farms. Guys. This place is truly magically. I believe this upcoming weekend and the next weekend are the last opportunities for apple picking! If you have some time, I highly encourage you check out. It’s a little bit of a drive from Columbus’ city center, but totally worth it.  Not only is the orchard beautiful, but the staff is amazingly friendly, and the apples are super duper delicious. I snagged 2 pecks, 2 bottles of Apple Cider and some apple butter! Nom nom.
