I swear it. At least twice per year, I go through this season of borrowing Jason’s clothes like crazy! When life is a little rough, I love rocking the oversized trend. As much as I shop, you would think that I would just buy my own oversized wardrobe pieces, but I don’t know…I think somewhere in my subconscious I have concluded that its cheaper for me to just borrow Jason’s stuff. haha. I lowkey think he’s not a fan of me always wearing his stuff, but he doesn’t really say too much about it. Now, that’s what I call a cool husband.

While the intention behind this look was the oversized vibe, I also had another goal in mind…to wear the pantone color of the year. I’ve gotta admit that I have been pretty bad about fully adopting this year’s dual color, Rose Quartz and Serenity. I’m gonna blame it on the fact that I am really busy and really haven’t had any extra time to shop. Sounds like a good excuse, huh? As I began to reflect on the year’s “holy” colors, I realized that rose quartz {aka blush} has been my preferred color for quite some time. If I don’t buy a neutral colored something, it is likely that my second color choice is blush. However, when it comes to blue…I’m not very adventurous. A few of you may remember me talking about this last winter in a post. In hopes of continuing my journey to making blue one of my preferred color choices, I took a gander over to Jason’s side of the closet, because he has an ENTIRE SECTION of blue button downs. I decided to go with this J. Crew one that I got him last summer. I particularly love the neutral colored base and the subtle pinkish/red stripes.  To further enhance my borrowed boyfriend look, it only felt right to pair this button down with ripped boyfriend jeans and a leather bag!
