Per the usual, I am always on the hunt for something. This time it was for a cropped dress! I really love the crop top trend, but the problem I kept encountering was finding a crop top that was modest enough. I only want to show a tiny, tiny, tiny bit of my tummy. So when cropped dresses made a come back, I was pretty stoked! You get the “cropped” look without sacrificing modesty. It’s an illusion!

One day, while randomly shopping at Nordstrom Rack, I found this super cute cropped skater dress by S.H.E. for $11.99. I wasn’t 100% sold on the print, but you can’t beat $11.99 and you can never go wrong with black and white. So I bought it!  After styling it, I would say that this was a darn good purchase. Just in case you haven’t noticed, I live for the sale rack…all day, every day. I purchased this dress back in early April, which means that it’s no longer available; however, there are lots of other amazing S.H.E. cropped dresses via Nordstrom Rack online. But I really wanted to share this look to simply say, don’t be discouraged if you have a desire to be both trendy and modest with your wardrobe. I’m hear to tell you that where there’s a will, there’s a way. Be patient, never sacrifice, and I promise you, when you least expect it…you’ll find a way to make it work!
