After a casual day in my pumped kicks, Monday (my final day at fashion week) was literally insane! My day started around 8AM and the spirit of being causal, I decided do just that. For first part of the day, I knew that I would yet again be running from meeting to meeting and wanted to keep my look at simplistic as possible. Also, it was still pretty HOT. So, having something that was breathable and easy to move around all while looking fashionable was most definitely of upmost importance! Ha! Overall, I would feel confident in saying that blouse with a mini skirt is a pretty predictable combination. With that in mind, I decided to give this look a little a bit of life by mixing and matching the colors of bit. Would have ever thought that combining black & white stripes with olive green, mustard yellow and camel cold ever look so lovely! Oh, and of course I completed the loop with my oversized hoops that were seemingly on REPEAT throughout my entire NYFW adventure.

After a round early morning and early afternoon meetings, Monica and I bolted to the hotel for a quick wardrobe change prior to heading to the LeAnne Marshall presentation followed by the Sherri Hill presentation and the rewardStyle annual rooftop party. One of the most frustrating things about NYFW these days is how amazingly spreadout everything is! Your days have to pretty much be planned out to a “T” to make things flow as smoothly as possible. Originally, we had planned to stay out the entire day and just make a quick change in between the LeAnne Marshall and Sherri Hill presentations. However, we got loaded up with some AMAZING swag from one of our meetings. And honestly, there was no wayyyy we would have been able to lug that stuff around the city for the rest of the day. Without much of a question, we knew we had to make a run back to the hotel and drop a few things. With a little time to spare, we made it back to the hotel, grabbed a quick bite and changed! However, we ended up getting stuck in TERRIBLE TRAFFIC, which made us like 5 minutes late to the LeAnne Marshall show! Most shows don’t start on time, but LeAnne Marshall sure did! Despite being late, we got to see the remainder of the presentation and it was absolutely lovely!

After both the Sherri Hill presentation and the rewardStyle party, we completed our evening with a late dinner at Jane ( one of my favorite spots in the entire city)! I am currently dreaming of their spaghetti right now…ahhhh. So good! Without a doubt, NYFW was a blast and I can’t wait until February.

P.S. Both of handbags in this post are from Gigi New York and they are currently hosting their annual Friends and Family event (now through October 11th). Enjoy 25-30% off with code WEAREFAMILY. Seriously, you won’t regret purchasing one of their handbags and/or accessories! They are wardrobe game changers.
