Dream Blue

Despite the fact that winter blues have set in, I am still trucking along. I’m beyond ready for some warmth and I could not be more excited that I am headed down to Georgia next Thursday! Not only will it be warm, but I will get to eat my mom’s fried chicken and my grandma’s pound cake! It makes me hungry just thinking about it. Oh yes, just in case you haven’t notice, per my Instagram, I am a foodie at heart.

This past summer in a blog post I shared a little bit about my distain for the color blue. In all my effort to really like wearing this color, I still haven’t gotten there. Well, I guess I should say, I hadn’t gotten there until I found this beautiful pastel blue boucle’ coat from Nordstrom. Truth be told, this color was not my first choice, as it also came in cream and you guys know how much I love neutrals. In my indecisiveness, I waited too long to purchase the coat in cream, as it sold out within a matter of hours. Since the jacket was only $30, I decided to snag it in dream blue. Turns out that “Dream Blue” really is a dream. Despite the fact that its blue,  I’ve found soooo many ways to style this jacket! Boy am I glad that I didn’t give up…
