I’ve been a dress lover since my younger years. My mom use to make me all kinds of dresses during my elementary school days. I specifically remember the sunflower dress she made me, as well as the balloon dress. I should try to find photos of those so I can share them with Y’all…you would get a good laugh for sure.

There’s just something about a good dress that makes me feel ultra chic and feminine. Also, not to mention how amazingly nice it is to be able to throw on a great dress and only accessorizing it. I love the no fuss element attached to dresses…one piece and you are truly done! It’s finally starting to feel like Spring here in Ohio and I’m over the moon because that means I confidently bare my legs and wear some dresses. I practically live in dresses for most of the warmer months, so at the beginning of each spring/summer season, I like to incorporate a few styles into my wardrobe!

For this year’s dress refresh, I made a visit to Ann Taylor and found endless dress options! From my personal wardrobe needs to client needs, I’ve practically been living at Ann Taylor. Sooooo much good stuff. And yes, I pretty much know all the associates by first name. haha. From dress up to dress down and everything in between, Ann Taylor‘s dress game is strong!

The blush Smocked Tie Waist Ruffle Dress makes the most “guest of wedding” dress, while the Colorblock Shift Dress makes a perfect Sunday best dress. Also, every gal needs a good little athleisure run around town dress. I fell madly in love with this Striped Side T-Shirt Dress that will get a ton of mileage this spring/summer and even transition into fall. And lastly, I’m a southern gal, so I always need to refresh my preppy prints and this Gingham Off The Shoulder Dress was literally calling my name. This makes a perfect warm weather date night dress or a Saturday picnic/bbq dress. I will definitely be topping this dress off with my straw boater hat for my next wear! Ahhh.
