I remember my first puffer vest…it was all black and from Old Navy. Never in a million years did I think this 90s trend would make a come back before my 30s, but it totally happened! Much like the blanket scarf, it was fall of 2014 when that trend seemingly took off and has not slowed down in the slightest. For Christmas, my best friend Vanessa got me this amazing puffer vest {or as J. Crew would call it, the “Excursion Quilted Vest“} and I’m obsessed with it. Actually, obsessed would be an understatement. With the crazy temps, this piece has truly revolutionized my winter wardrobe! Not only is it functional, it’s amazingly stylish and grown up. I was a bit resistant to adopting this trend as an adult out of fear it would make me feel like 5th grade Candace…LOL. I know, I know…I’m crazy. It appears that I’ll be wearing a regular jacket for the remainder of this week, but I’m looking forward to pulling this baby back out for a little style excursion as soon as I can!!
