One of the beautiful things about marriage is growing and discovering new things with/about your spouse. Before Jason and I got married, I always thought that deep down Jason was a true creative. While growing up, he was a 4 sport athlete and a very good one, if I do say so myself. In college, while playing NCAA Div. II basketball, he pursued a double major in Business Management and Accounting. Soo, based upon those things, most would consider him to be more left brained than right brained. About a year ago, Jason began to express interest in photography and slowly took action on it. By December, he was really engaged. Researching, learning and experimenting. And here we are, approximately 7 months later and he has decided to expand his interest in photography beyond a hobby and make it a career. So, I’m excited to share that we’ll be officially launching the Roosevelt Group here in the next couple of weeks! You have noticed in a few of my photos via Instagram that I’ve been crediting the Roosevelt Group. Well, that’s my husband! I’ll be joining Jason on this photography exploration and second shooting when needed, organizing and such. I’m really excited to build this business with him and learn even more about him, myself and what it means to genuinely capture LIFE.

For those of you who are wondering, Kimberly and I are still working together! She’s one of my dearest friends and I absolutely love creating stylized imagery with her! One of the greatest things about Jason now being a photographer, is that he can capture cool happenings when we are traveling around. While back home in Ashtabula, OH, we did a little exploration around Lake Erie and he was able to capture this amazing imagery that I can now share with YOU!

So, now when you see me post about the Roosevelt Group, you know what it is! When you get a chance, be sure to follow our new Instagram {roosevelt_group}. Lots of exciting things in the works!
