Believe it or not, I actually do love Fall. Now don’t get me wrong…summer is my absolute favorite season, but fall is defintely a close second! Some of the benefits of fall weather include, my hair holding curl,  justifiably wearing sweaters and layering. Lots and lots of layering! As many of you know, the weather transition to fall has been a little wonky. Its still pretty warm out, but I decided that I wasn’t gonna let that stop me from making the wardrobe transition. Rather that pulling out all of my fall essentails, I’ve been doing a lot of mixing and matching. Dresses with sweaters, denim with 3 quarter lenght button downs and sweaters with skirts. When the weather is in flux like it currently is, I really enjoy combining elements of both seasons to create the perfect look. That being said, I took a summer-esque skirt that I purchased from BCBGeneration in July and gave it more of a fall look. When combining seasons in your wardrobe, every element must be intentional! With a desire to give this skirt a more fall-esque look, despite the then heat index, I chose to go with a light crochet sweater that I purchased FOREVER ago. What I love most about this sweater is that it’s breathable and lightweight. To really cultivate the fall vibe that I was going for, I paired the look with camel brown booties and a crossbody bag! For finishing touches, I wanted to pull everything together with a bright, but fall appropiate lipstick! Thankfully, I had just been gifted some new fall lippies from Pixi by Petra! I recieved 3 beatuiful fall shades and Raspberry Blush was destined to be paired with this fall look! It’s not too bright and not too dark, but just right. I sure do love lipstick. Seemingly, it has the ability, in a matter of seconds, to complete a look that previously felt incomplete!
