The power of social media is kinda beautiful (and sometimes scary). Just three weeks ago I uploaded a couple images to Pinterest from my dear friend Emily Loftiss’ blog because she had these TO DIE FOR images that screamed “PINTEREST WORTHY.” See them HERE and you will scream. Any who, being the tagging freak that I am, I was sure to @ reply Emily, as well as the wonderful boutique, Pink Blush, who provided her dress. I share all of this to say, Pink Blush reached out and asked if I would like to collab and of course I said YES! So after hours upon hours of stalking their website, I found a dress that spoke to me! Say hello to the “Mint Green Floral Open Back Dress,” aka Floral Bliss.
As most of you know, I LOVE COLOR! So it’s no surprise that I was drawn to this dress because of it’s unique color combination. I particularly love the organized chaos of the floral pattern! Oh yes, another key factor in selecting this dress…I don’t own anything mint green! So it was time for me to step out of my comfort zone and try something different.
Ok, so I’m sure some of you are a bit concerned about the length of the dress! I have ridiculously long legs, so EVERYTHING looks shorter on me. Also, when I have shorter pieces in my wardrobe, this enables me tap into my “extreme fashion creativity.” This dress could easily be worn with white jeans to give it more of a tunic feel. It could also be paired with killer thigh high boots…even tights and riding boots. There is ALWAYS a way to make it work. Trust me…I’m the Queen of Make It Work!

I wanted to keep ALL of the focus on the dress, so I paired it with neutral colored heels to keep the eyes up! Nothing is worse than having an overly busy look. Sometimes it best to just keep it simple!
To accentuate the dress, I choose a bright pink lip and earrings with like colors of the floral print. Also, please tell me you noticed the hint of blue in the sunnies that beautifully compliments the various hues of blue in the dress? I swear these sunglasses have become my new best friend. They go with everything!
So as you can see, Pink Blush is pretty dang awesome. They have sooo many amazing pieces that I am looking forward to adding to my closet in the near future.
