Get The Look Thursdays: Free Spirit (& Giveaway)

I’m a girly girl thru and thru. I live for the soft, flowly feminine clothing. It has a way of freeing my spirit. So in celebration of that beautiful feeling…here’s a little free spirit action.

I styled this look with simplicity in mind. It’s very “no fuss”, which I find even more freeing! As a style blogger and stylist, it’s extremely refreshing to create ensembles that require little to no effort. I am almost positive that this look was assembled in 5 minutes or less! Also, I should mention that this dress is like 3 years old. I purchased it from H&M and have maybe worn it 5 times.

My slip is showing! hehe. Yes, I’m 25 and I wear slips and so should you. It’s not cute to walk around in see thru clothing 24/7. Also, you don’t want to be the cupcake in the room! Having a good slip is essential, but just make sure it’s not showing like mine. #justsaying

Although this look was birthed with simplicity in mind, I still wanted to give it character. Hence the reason I went with larger statement earrings and gold accents, the belt and the watch, which gave it flavor but not too much! It’s perfectly balanced. 

 I cannot get over how beautifully all of the accessories worked together for this ensemble. It’s just incredible and I cannot stop staring at these photos! Best stylist moment ever. #fashionmiraclescanhappen

To be honest with you, I have no fashion words of affirmation for you this week! Today’s #GTLT was simply inspired by my desire to be a free spirit. So if anything…wear what you love and be free but please, please, please don’t look busted… because that’s not cool. There is something amazingly wonderful that happens when you take a moment to free yourself from the troubles of life. And yes, that “freeing” can take place in how you present yourself to the World!
