You guys are already aware of my great love for all things tulle! Ahhh…it’s just magnificent and no, I will not continue to carry on about it! However, if you are interested in hearing more about my secret love affair with tulle, see HERE and HERE. lol.  Any who, most people would consider a tulle skirt as a wardrobe statement piece. Something that you wear every once in a blue moon. After all it is a tulle; but with those thoughts in mind I thought it would be cool to give myself a little styling challenge. How many different ways can I style this skirt? I must say, this challenge has already proven to be a little difficult, as I want to make sure each time it is styled that it is “fashion comparable” to the last time I wore it! Eeeeeeek. So for the next couple months you’ll probably be seeing lots of this skirt and I do hope that you share your honest feedback each time you see it!  Without any further delay here’s another look from the Kramer Farm,  Rosettes and Tulle.

Who would have ever thought that nude, black, mauve pink, brown and gold would blend together so well? I absolutely love those moments of surprise when I’m outfit planning and not really sure what the final outcome will be!

IMG_1898Just because this photo is silly and my highlight and contouring looks good!

IMG_1924After deciding to style this lovely skirt again, I already envisioned it with various brown accents. The first thing that came to mind was this old Big Buddha bag that I had purchased my junior year of college. Another one of those first big purchases! I even remember putting it on layaway just to afford it. haha. From there I then added the BCBGeneration pumps and the suede belt, which naturally led me to the Henri Bendel jeweled bangles and the rose gold Michael Kors watch.

This sweet babe, Jonathan, was all about getting his photo taken. So glad he was there to be Kim and I’s tour guide! We couldn’t have done this without him 🙂

IMG_1955This top was one of my first boutique purchases, which means I’ve had it for years! I remember walking into Bella’s Boutique, seeing this beauty and knowing that I couldn’t leave without it and as you can see…I didn’t! Also, I’m actually wearing the back of this top in the front. It just looked cooler in my opinion!

And no look is complete without a pair of ridiculously awesome sunnies. I wanted to accent the black trim in the top and decided to go with these sunglasses because of the black lenses. I also love the fact that they have a hint of brown, which beautifully compliments the other accessories.

And the moral for this week’s #GTLT? Take a moment to dig deep into your closet and pull out some of your old things! Initially, when I gave myself this challenge, I ran to TJ Maxx to find some new pieces to pair with the skirt and to my surprise I didn’t find one thing! SHOCKING, right? I bought a few things anyways knowing they weren’t what I wanted. I came home and confirmed none of those would work! So at that moment, I stopped, refocused and made the decision that I was OK with this outfit not having all new elements and almost instantly I started to visualize the entire look! And piece by piece I created a look, using things that I had purchased years ago!! So, I would encourage you to not be hasty in your desire to always purchases new things because some of the best pieces are sitting right under your nose.
