There are 5 wardrobe staples that every woman needs and they are: a classic trench coat, a killer tube of red lipstick, a fancy pair of pumps, designer sunnies and an amazing statement watch. Today we are gonna talk about the statement watch, because I have a new love and his name is Frankie. And he’s quite beautiful, if I do say so myself.

Until about 5 years ago, I was always under the impression that “watches” were the one accessory that belonged to guys. I’m not really sure how I came to that conclusion, but it prevented me from experimenting with watches for some time. Thankfully, I got over that, because I have since learned that wearing a timepiece is the most simplistic way to showcase that you have great taste. Without making this post too long, the type of watch a guy or gal wears has the ability to tell a lot about their personal style. In realizing the power of the ever classic wrist watch, I’ve been pushing myself to experiment a bit more with my arm candy selections. While I would typically go for a new bracelet, I’ve vowed to change my ways and invest in more timepieces.
