It’s hard to believe that it’s been an entire year since I had my first GLAM 356 experience! In fact, I wrote about it HERE. Boy does time really fly. Before I get too sentimental, let’s keep the conversation rolling about holiday style. Today, I’ve teamed up with GLAM 356 to show you not one, but TWO laidback luxe holiday looks. When it comes to holiday style for 2015, I’ve made it a personal goal to not be so predictable in my style choices but to mix it up a bit. That being said, I don’t think I’ve worn red and green or gold and silver together at all this season, which I consider a major success! With uniqueness at the top of my list for the season, GLAM 356 had everything I was looking for. I’m a firm believer in having a balanced wardrobe of statement pieces and basics and seemingly, so does GLAM 356! I love the fact that most everything from GLAM can be worn year-round, depending on how you approach it stylistically.

While shopping, I had two very specific holiday events in mind! New Year’s Eve and Christmas Eve. Both of these evenings are simply spent with family and friends, but I still desire to look stylish! So, for Look #1, aka the NYE’s look, I want to keep things super simple, with a touch of GLAM, rather than doing the full on sparkle look that I would traditionally do. At GLAM, I spotted this amazingly comfy black dress by Yummie and layered her with a Lubna Designs trench sweater and a Meghan Browne fringe statement necklace. For a pop of holiday color, Laura, the owner of GLAM 356 and creator of Smart Bomb Cosmetics suggested that I go with the Firecracker lipgloss from the Smart Bomb Cosmetics collection, which was a great choice! And for finishing touches, I added the cutest cowhide clutch by Bryston Walters! I love the bubblegum pink accent on the backside of this wrislet.

Look #2 is all about Christmas Eve! For the last few years (except for last year), I always wore some shade of green on Christmas Eve and I’m not sure why. Last year I broke my streak, as I could not find one piece of green clothing that I liked; however, when I happened upon this olive green dress by Umgee, I knew I had found my Christmas Eve dress. For a more unorthodox approach to holiday style, I was immedately drawn to the fringe vest by Cherish. Naturally, I continued layering this look with a bit more brown from another cowhide wrislet by Bryston Walters and a black fedora. Oh, and gold accents. What’s not to love about olive green, brown, black and gold? ha.

In addition to finding some killer (oh, did I mention affordable?) pieces for my wardrobe, I found a number of groovy last minute gift ideas for YOU at GLAM 356. With this being the last full weekend you can shop for your sister, bestie, co-worker or whoever,  I will be sharing a Last Minute Holiday Gift Guide featuring nothing but wanderlust from GLAM 356 tomorrow! So, stay tuned. In the meantime, you should most defintely connect with GLAM 356 via social media. Or better yet, if you have some time today, you should swing by the Short North or Mansfield location! I promise you won’t be disappointed : )
