Just a short month ago, I was in Atlanta hosting an evening of shopping at J. Crew of Westside Provisions and this is what I wore! A few of you may remember seeing this look, as I posted it to Instagram the day after (see it HERE). To say that I had a great time while hosting and styling would be an understatement. I feel incredibly blessed that I have the opportunity to pursue something that I really love! The J.Crew event was a pinnacle moment for me. It was that little bit of encouragement I needed to really take my blog/fashion career to the next level for 2016! This industry is quite competitive and sometimes it can be easy to fall into the “I’m not growing fast enough” rut. Having this opporunity reinforeced that Live Love and Read is indeed valueable and impactful! One of my business goals for this year is to really hone in on my craft and simply focus on what I can do and not on what everyone else is doing. I am Candace and I can be the best verison of myself when I am happy with starting where I am, using what I have and doing what I can.
