After 14 days of crazy travel and lots of sleepless nights, I am excited to be home for a bit and get caught up on things! Prior to leaving, I had things all mapped out for the blog, but it just didn’t pan out. So note to self…PRE-BLOG BEFORE LEAVING HOME. Any who, I am back and I’m excited for October, because I have lots of new things to share with you (i.e. new logo, new website, school update and much more!) Before we skip over to October, I thought it would be groovy to give you a detailed recap of my life from the last few weeks (aka life according to Instagram).
Jason and I ventured to Atlantic City for the 2015 Miss America Pageant and while we were there I had a chance to catch up with one of my dear friends, Jenn Bradford. I seriously love this girl. Friends Forever!
Jason and I all jazzed up at dinner before the Mis America Pageant! I’ve had a few peeps to ask about my makeup, so I’ll be doing a full blog post about it this October.
Our girl Kira snagged the title of Miss America, making it a #threepeat for New York!
After Miss America, I flew to Atlanta to work with the Sherri Hill team for a few days.
And here’s a peek at one of the awesome styles from the 2015 Spring Collection.
And after leaving Atlanta, I went home for 48 hours to unpack and repack for NYC! Of course my first stop in the city was to TenOverTen nail salon. This place never disappoints me. Color deers: #614 (Lilac) by Chanel.
This year’s gala was absolutely amazing! A big thank you to Sherri Hill for allowing me to wear this beautiful dress from their Spring 2015 Collection. I could seriously live in this dress…that’s how much I love it!
Because no trip to New York is complete unless you visit the Shake Shack. My friend Avery told me they are closing the one in Madison Square Park (the original location) and that just breaks my heart! However, the one in Atlanta opened today…so I think I will be ok!
And while in the city, I had a little time to sneak in a quick #GTLT shoot for you guys. The pictures are pretty fab and I cannot wait to share them this Thursday!
Because there is no place like Jane. I’m a true foodie at heart, so I ventured all the way to SoHo with my friend Keisha just for this pasta and it was well worth the $20 cab fare.
And lastly, I was greeted back home by the lovely fall edition of Capital Style magazine. I think this may be my most favorite edition yet.
