I gotta admit..I’m still in shock that September has come and gone! Without a doubt, September is my favorite month of the fall season for so many reasons (e.g. the return of Pumpkin Spice Lattes, oversized blanket scarves, and all those other basic things). However, this September was especially exciting and very memorable! Just a few weeks back I had the opportunity to co-host Macy’s Presents Fashion Front Row event here in Columbus at Easton Town Center. On Saturday, September 17th I along with Project Runway Alum, Asha Ama Daniels and Alicia and Alexis of Wander and Whine shared our closets that included loads of trending fall favorites from Macys!

The theme of each of the closets differed, as we are all different of course (which is truly the beauty of fashion…so many different interpretations). Asha’s closet showed cased the beauty of layering and various textures while Alicia and Alexis’ closet focused on changing the identity of your fall wardrobe by simply utilizing statement jewelry and pieces. The focus of my closet was centered around florals and combined textures.

While fashion was definitely the focus of the afternoon, it was most definitely an epic party! There was a DJ, some amazingly yummy raspberry flavored popcorn, a manicure station, shuffleboard, DIY choker station, and much more. I really LOVE people, community and fashion; so to say that this event was fun would actually be an understatement! Honestly, I’m not sure if I could find an adjective to properly describe how much fun I had hanging out and sharing about one of the things I love most.

If you happened to miss this event, definitely be on the lookout for future Macy’s event in your area! When it comes to good a time, Macy’s most definitely knows how to have a good time (and no, I’m not just saying that). Additionally, if you are looking to give your fall wardrobe some extra love, don’t hesitate to make a trip to Macy’s. There are seriously so many good fall pieces there I can hardly stand it. The dress (it’s actually a tunic) I wore to the event is from Macy’s along with these beautiful golden mustard yellow sandals. I’m looking forward to pairing this perfectly fall floral tunic with tights and a crazy amazing boot like this ONE! I’m also considering pairing it with these jeans. Oh, and the sandals have already been on repeat 24/7. I’m really gonna hate when it becomes consistently cool, because I won’t be able to wear them again until Spring (insert crying face emoji).

P.S. Again, don’t forget to stay connected with your local Macy’s for future event listings! With the holidays upon us, I am almost certain there will be a couple of things happening : )
