Just a few weeks ago, en route home from a trip down South, I made a quick pitstop in Baton Rouge to visit my frand, Taylor. Without the slightest hesitation, we ventured over to NOLA for a day of adventure and it was pretty much incredible. I mean…I basically ate all day. I’m a foodie, so I was living my best life! Before we ventured too far into our day, we made time to capture some swoon-worthy imagery around the City. When I happened upon this dress at Nordstrom a few days before heading out, I knew that there would be some dreamy corner in NOLA that would perfectly compliment this soft metallic grey midi dress. I’m glad I followed my gut, because this dreamy corner on Magazine Street was complete and utter perfection! Ahhh, I love when things just naturally and creatively come together!
With Spring breaking through this week, I knew the timing was just right to share this look! One of the things that I love most about Spring is the endless number of events. From weddings to galas, there’s always something to get fanciful for! One of my goals for this event season is to create simple, but impactful statements with my clothing. Rather than opting for my usual loud colors, I want to do softer colors in silhouettes that will add value to my closet! Hence this little beauty right here. While it is trendy, it is still classic, chic and ultra feminine. There’s no doubt about it, I’ll be wearing this dress a couple of different ways this season…that’s for sure!!
