So, just in case you can’t tell from these photos, I am majorly crushing on the off the shoulder trend for this spring/summer. When I first discovered that this trend was going to be a “thing” for the warm season, I immediately started looking for one. Per the usual, like all of my shopping adventures, I searched and searched and searched to find something I particularly loved! I feel strongly that you should LOVE what you are buying, otherwise what’s the point? You will literally wear it once and then place it in the back of your closet. Any who, while amidst my off the shoulder quest, I received a timely e-mail from eShakti. eShakti is this amazing brand that allows you to either purchase it in standard sizing or customized, so it fits YOU perfectly. I mean, the concept is truly amazing. They embrace the philosophy that it “is not enough that clothes look good on the mannequin” but they should look good on YOU!

While shopping their site, I most definitely selected a custom cut skirt (which will be happening soon on the blog), but I also selected this standard size off the shoulder chambray blouse! The color and length was just perfect and I knew that my closet needed this. Upon receiving it, I was even more excited, as it was just as I had hoped for! Also, not to mention the quality of the fabric and the fit. Double win! While it took me awhile to find what I was looking for, I must admit that it was mostly definitely worth the wait! So, the million dollar question, “how much is it?” You’ll be thrilled to know that she is right under $40 and is available to be customized! Quality fashion finds literally make my heart skip a beat!

Oh, and good news! Today marks week 7 of my final quarter of graduate school! I basically have 3 weeks and 6 days left until I am completely done : ) I’ll go ahead and tell you guys that the next couple of weeks are gonna be rough for me and I will most likely be absent a good bit. However, I have made it a goal to post at least once per week and to continue posting to my socials if possible! It all just depends on workflow. This week is HUGE for me, as my final paper draft is due this upcoming SUNDAY and I have a crap ton of work to do…yikes…pray for me!
