Olivia Pope Style. Need I say more? While I personally don’t agree with the underlying theme of the show, Scandal (as it’s a little too scandalous for my taste), I do love Olivia Pope’s style. It’s incredibly feminine, well put-together and tasteful. Her style oozes with timeless moments of chic that every woman wants to experience at least once in her life, if not everyday! Seemingly, the only down fall in desiring to dress like Olivia Pope is how stinking expensive it is. I fell in love with this stunning Ralph Lauren Mariele coat that she wore during Season 4, only to discover that it cost $5,595. Epic fail. We all know that the KEY to achieving Olivia Pope Style is all about the coat swag. Well, just as I was beginning to give up on finding a suitable replacement for the Ralph Lauren Mariele coat, I received a box of wanderlust from Piperlime that included this killer double layer wrap coat (which is on sale for a ridiculous price right now!) I literally died when I opened the box. Just ask my husband. I also, received a pair of great black moto ponte jeans that I’ve been living in for the last couple weeks. So comfortable.
To create this Olivia Pope inspired look, the Pim + Larkin Womens Double Layer Wrap Coat and Vince Womens Moto Ponte Jean served as my foundation pieces, because they are soooooo O.P. In understanding that Olivia’s style is about simplicity combined with neutral statement pieces, I knew that I had to add a killer handbag and shoe. Naturally, I went for my grey Michael Kors Hamilton Bag (which is also on sale HERE) and my BCBGeneration T-straps. From there I wanted to add a little Candace flare, hence the Ray-Ban sunnies, Delicate Raymond Vintage Monogram and a Michael Kors watch.
The next time you are looking to add a little Olivia Pope style to your closet, make sure that Piperlime is your first online stop! Lots of awesome wardrobe statement pieces at an affordable price!

Love this outfit, especially the coat. I’ve never watched Scandal nor really paid any attention to the outfits on the show. However, every now and then I will catch a glimpse of her outfits on Twitter or Pinterest and they are always pretty swoon worthy. I love that you recreated her style on a budget-not to mention your writing is something to behold.
