I think it’s safe to say, fall is officially here. The leaves this weekend were beyond magical, which made me think about this look that Kimberly and I shot right as Fall was beginning to take shape!
Now the real question is, “How long will she stick around?” My thoughts are…not too long. Fall always seems to flash by in a skinny minute, which sucks, because I know I am about to enter a polar vortex until about April. Ugh.
During the Nordstrom Anniversary sale back in July, I managed to snag one thing and it was this cowl neck dress! Naturally, I purchased it for the color and the neckline. If you follow me on Instagram, then you already know I have mad love for all things yellow and the mock neck trend! I’ve mostly been layering this dress with a fringe vest that I got last year. Oh, and of course bare legs and flats…mostly because the weather has been so crazy until recently! I’m looking forward to styling this dress for winter season. I’m thinking black tights and riding boots. Maybe I’ll even pair her with jeans and an ankle boot. Hold up…let’s rewind…I failed to mention that this dress has pockets. Major selling point! Also, I’m thinking we are gonna have just one more weekend of fall awesomeness. I’ll likely be wearing this dress to go out with bang!!
