Supposedly, Greenery is the 2017 Color of the Year. However, if you’ve had your ear to the ground, you’ll know that pink is really shaping up to be the star color for 2-0-1-7. Yes, PINK. From the red carpet to Paris Fashion Week to the streets, pink is without a doubt the go-to color if you are looking to make a statement. Before you tune me out, when I say statement, I do not mean the frou-frou, girly girl notion that has been attached to the color pink for years! In fact, you can pretty much say goodbye to all the negative pink stigmas. While the color undoubtedly still represents femininity, it now represents it in a much more powerful, daring and unique way. Now granted, most of us gals won’t be waltzing the red carpet in a bright pink gown like Zoe Saldana did at the Golden Globes. But there are a few subtle – yet not so subtle – ways we can integrate pink back into our wardrobe for the coming spring season.
