Nearly 2 1/2 months ago, Jason and I ventured down to Auburn, AL to celebrate the nuptials of one my dearest friends, Jordan. While this weekend was full of homework when not catching up with friends and exploring the city, I seriously had the  “bestest” time. I had only been to Auburn once before to visit Jordan for a TRUE Wareagle game day experience. It was one of my fondest memories from college! Being the true Southern Belle that she is, Jordan had both a lovely rehearsal dinner and wedding! Sadly, I forgot to photograph my actual look for the wedding, but I do have images of what I wore to the rehearsal din din. So, today we are gonna chat rehearsal din din attire! And on Monday, we’ll be chatting “actual” guest of wedding attire compliments of Brittany’s, an adorable boutique based in Augusta, GA that has the most dreamy, yet practical pieces for a gal’s wardrobe. As you can probably sense, I am ridiculously excited because the imagery is BEYOND swoon worthy. I’ll post a sneak peak sometime this weekend, so stay connected via Instagram! Ok, let’s get back to rehearsal dinner attire.

The attire specification for Jordan’s rehearsal dinner was dressy casual. However, in the South dressy casual leans more towards “dressy” than causal. Knowing that it would pretty warm (and it was warm), I wanted to be effortlessly dressy and comfortable. In my head, nothing screams effortlessly dressy better than on off the shoulder dress! I told y’all that I was obsessed with this summer trend. Back in mid-March I received a box of goodies from eShakti and knew that I wanted to save this bird print dress for the perfect occasion. When I got the invitation, I knew that this was the perfect dress!  To add a little “Candace” flare to this dress, I decided to change things up by adding a different belt. As for my other accessories, I truly believe in packing lightly these days (because I HATE UNPACKING), I kept things extremely neutral so I could have versatility with my accessories. Honestly, no one needs to pack 5 of everything for a 3 day trip. It’s just silly and it will low-key stress you out (and maybe your husband who has to share a suitcase with you).

Sadly, this dress is no longer available. I know…that sucks. But I’m excited to tell you that eShakti has a LOAD of great print dresses that you should consider. This is now the third piece I’ve worn from this brand and I can truthfully say, I DO NOT have a complaint in the world. The pieces are well made, comfortable and durable (meaning they warrant frequent re-wears). Below you  will find some eShakti printed dresses that I am currently lusting!

I hope each of you have a rockstar weekend and I will meet you back here on Monday bright and early!
