In preparation for Miss America {I still cannot believe Miss Georgia is now Miss America}, I did a little shopping in hopes of finding a few preliminary night dresses. I searched the vast majority of Easton Town Center looking for some cute, but simple dresses…and found nothing! En route back to my car, I walked past Forever 21, which is my least favorite store in all of America. They always have way too much stuff on the floor {on the floor is a retail term} and I never know where to look. My F21 experiences leave me frustrated, exhaused and color blind. Reluctantly, I turned around and decided I would just pop inside for a quick minute. Upon walking in, I simply stood in the front of the store starring, because I didn’t know which direction to go…again…way too much stuff out on the floor. I decided to go right and was immediately drawn to this dark green self-tie neck shirt dress. I’ve always wanted a necktie dress and I’ve always wanted a shirt dress…so finding a dress with these details combined equated to an epic victory! Oh. and most importantly, it was $17. Now let me tell you a little secret…with fast fashion brands like F21 and H&M, I don’t believe in spending more than $30 for ANYTHING {unless its a piece from H&M’s higher end line or the Conscious Collection}. Fast fashion is exactly that, fast, trendy and inexpensively made, which means the products don’t last for long. Before indecisive Candace made her grand debut, I snagged the dress, briskly walked to the counter and made the purchase. Defintely $17 well spent, if you ask me.

Oh, and I’m excited to share yet another shade of Pixi by Petra’s Mattelustre lipstick with you guys! The shade I’m wearing in this post is “Classic Red.” It looks a bit more organish red on my skin tone, but I love the effect, as it helped to make this dress not look so holiday-esque, if you know what I mean! Pixi by Petra offers a wonderful variety of products. I defintely enourage you to look them up, if you haven’t already done so!

 Thank you Pixi by Petra!
