Well, hello and Happy Tuesday!! I apologize for being incredibly M.I.A. lately, but February has proven to be a CRAZY month already. I left home on Friday, January 29th and returned yesterday. I am in the process of packing my bags and headed out to NYFW. Oh, and not to mention, graduate school. Ugh. I seriously don’t know how I am even surviving these days. Any who, without giving you more information than you desire, just know that things are busy this month and I am anticipating for things to be normal again in March. So, just hang tight with me for the next little bit…I promise to make it up to you guys REAL BIG : )

In honor of my return (haha), I thought it would be fitting to finally share the photos from our recent staycation at Le Meridien Columbus, affectionately known as The Joseph. As a few of you may remember, I did a fun style post at The Joseph this past November (see HERE). To say that I love this place would be an understatement. Jason and I had our first stay at The Joseph back in June for my birthday and have been back a couple of other times for various events and such. When I received an invitation for a weekend of wanderlust, courtesy of The Joseph, I nearly died (and so did Jason…we have a thing for fancy hotels).

After a week of craziness and running around like crazy people, we checked in late Friday afternoon and vegged out for a solid three hours. Ok, I didn’t, but Jason did. I enjoy relaxing, but have a really hard time doing it! My brain is always on over load. Shortly after checking into our room, we received some tasty welcome macaroons from Pistacia Vera and a bottle of San Pellegrino. Once Jason’s do nothing session was over, we ventured out for a quick bite and came back to the room and literally passed out. The beds at The Joseph are literally heaven. Oh, and the blackout curtains. I seriously need to get some of those for our apartment

Waking up all nice and rested, our Saturday commenced with a breakfast meet up at the Soul Bar with some other Cbus digital influencers who were also enjoying a Joseph staycation! Once we were done with breakfast, we received a full tour of The Joseph, which included a visit to the Presidential Suite, The Spa Suites, The Gym and The Joseph Editions. Don’t think words can adequately describe just how luxurious this hotel is, so I’m not even going to try and explain all of my feelings. Just know that this place is beyond amazing and that you simply need to experience the wanderlust yourself! And speaking of experience, The Joseph is currently hosting a contest called, “Columbus Through A Lens” on its Instagram. Followers are encouraged to post photos on their respective Instagram accounts of their favorite places in Columbus and tag them using @lmcolumbusthejoseph and #LMcolumbus to be entered for a chance to win a free weekend at the hotel. So, you should most definitely enter!! They are accepting photos now until February 20th. After February 20th, select photos will be printed on canvas and displayed in the Hub (lobby) of the hotel for a week. The winner will be selected on February 28th. Pretty cool, huh?

P.S. A group of bloggers and I have teamed up to bring you another designer giveaway. One lucky winner will receive an authentic Louis Vuitton Speedy 30, a pair of Fendi sunglasses and a gold iPad mini. Open to international contestants and must be 18+. International winner will be responsible for shipping, handling and custom fees.

Louis Vuitton + Fendi + Gold iPad Mini

Thank you to Le Meridien Columbus, The Joseph for the most wonderful staycation.
