Despite the fact that it’s blazing hot, I am slowly making the transition over to Fall. And I must admit…the transition hasn’t been easy for me this year! Often times when the weather is in between like it currently is, I like to keep my wardrobe transition simple. Rather than wearing jeans or shorts, I opt for cute dresses and skirts and adorn them with fall-esque elements. For this particular look, I chose a super basic black cotton dress and paired it with a fall scarf and a vampy lip. As you can see, nothing super fancy, but it works perfectly! Transitioning your wardrobe from one season to the next is all about baby steps!
In other world news, I cannot believe that today marks day #1 of NYFW! I’m just in awe that September is here and in full swing. I won’t be attending any NYFW events this season, as I am in Atlantic City working at the Miss America pageant. However, I will post as many NYFW updates as I can. as I have friends out and about in the city attending shows & events! And lastly, if you want Miss America updates, be sure to follow along via Snapchat {@candacemread}. Tonight will be Night #3 of preliminaries. I’m beyond excited to see who makes the Top 15 on Sunday. I have my thoughts, but I won’t spoil the fun!
