Summer Suit {+ Giveaway Deets}

YAY for long weekends! I would like to put in a request for 4 day weekends every week…haha. A girl can dream.

Per the usual, we ventured up to Ashtabula for the long weekend and spent some time with family! If you follow me on snapchat, then you already know that I did a little bit of camping out! While I would love to say I did the real deal, I didn’t…it’s more like “glamping”, as Jason’s parents have a nice camper with a lovely pull out sofa. However, we did spend some time outside and all that good stuff. On our second evening in Ashtabula, we made the treacherous adventure down to the beach of Lake Erie to view the sunset and it was TOTALLY WORTH IT. By far the most magical sunset ever. While admiring Mother Nature and all of her beauty, I realized that I never posted the images from our previous adventure down to the Lake.

Despite having enough swimsuits to wear a different one for every day of the week and then some…I find it interesting that each summer I fall in love with just ONE suit and wear it on repeat 24/7. It appears that this lovely 2 piece from Triangl is this year’s summer suit. One of the things I love most about this suit is the top and how it fits me perfectly! Typically, without fail, I always end up with a swimsuit top that is too big, but this ONE is simply a dream. When I say perfect fit, I mean PERFECT. Another favorite feature of this suit is the coloring of the print. I tend to go for the bright yellows and peachy toned swimsuit bottoms, but I love the midnight-esque tone of this print. In addition to simply having a reason to wear a swimsuit, I particularly love styling swimsuits. I know…not exactly practical…but I love it. With mad love for this print, I knew that I wanted to further enhance it by selecting accessories that would do just that. As I began the accessorizing process, I immediately knew that this burnt orange duster sweater would be a perfect choice, as it would further highlight the orange/gold tone in the floral print. To further highlight those colors, I was then led to select my clubmaster sunnies that also have a similar warm coloring. From there I completed my look with my favorite summer hat and a soft nude lip!
