Easter. I feel quite certain that Easter is becoming one of my favorite holidays! Growing up celebrating the resurrection of Jesus was always important, but I’ve got to say, there is something incredibly special about this day when YOU make the choice to pursue the Father’s heart as an adult. More so than any other season in my life, Jesus has been tangibly present in a way that I could not even begin to explain it. Just know this, I’m soooooooooooooooooooooooooooooo thankful for the cross and what it represents. Every time I think about Jesus dying on the cross for my sins (before I committed one) I am overwhelmed with tears. There ain’t no denying that Jesus has GREAT LOVE for us, as life is the ultimate gift one can give.

Hands down the most important element of Easter is remembering the price He paid on the cross. However, I would be remiss if I did not admit that I always love the Sunday Best fashion show that is a byproduct of Easter. Seemingly, its the one day when {mostly} everyone in the church puts on their Sunday Best and literally makes my fashion lovin’ heart so excited. What I love about dress is that it allows you to see dimensions of an individual’s personality and this especially rings true on special occasions like Easter. Our church, The Rock, has a pretty causal attire vibe, so I LOVE discovering new elements of people’s personality when they are all fancied up. Oh, and not to mention, all of the kiddos dressed up! Seriously…#bestillmyheart. haha.

While I “technically” did not need to spend extra moo la on an Easter dress outfit, I did get one! I found this cute striped dress from the Blue Door Boutique! They featured in on their Instagram a couple weeks back and I fashion imprinted on it. haha. I particularly love that it has that Easter/Non-Easter vibe. In fact, I am headed down to Atlanta next week for work and I’m thinking about pairing this beauty with a denim jacket and my Halogen studded flats.
