And the spotted sweater returns! I kinda did a bit too much shooting in one day with this sweater on, but that’s ok! More often than not, I believe that bloggers give off this “I AM PERFECT” persona (myself included), but we all know that isn’t true. So, though you’ve seen this sweater twice in two weeks, I believe this confirms that I am indeed human and that there are the those weeks when you don’t follow the “only wear this every other week” rule. ha.

On a more serious note, I wanted to continue our little chat about lipstick, but about nude instead of red. I will be the first to admit, I was not a fan of the whole nude lip trend when it came on the scene. In fact, I thought it was pretty silly, as I remember saying to myself, “Who wears nude lipstick when you can just wear no lipstick and get the same effect?” Silly Candace.  As the trend continued to grow, I realized that I had to try a shade of nude, to better understand the hype. Welp, as I am sure most of you have noticed, I now wear more nude colored lipstick than anything else. In my little experiment, I realized that nude lipstick on your lips has the same effects as a light coat of mascara on the lashes. It just gives you a little umph! You basically go from dead to awake and what’s not to love about that?!  Once I understood the obsession, I began obsessively purchasing various shades of nude lipstick. So, to say that I was excited to discover that Stila had sent me Dolce (aka nude colored lipstick) from the Stay All Day line, would be an understatement. What I love about this particular shade is the base of the lipstick appears to have a bit more brown tone, which is perfect, because I have darker skin. I’ve found some shades that have wayyy too much white or pink in the base color and my lips just look ashy. I know it sounds crazy, but trust me. It ain’t cute. Any who, that was a major bonus for me! Also, I love that this lippy has a lite cinnamon shimmer to it, giving you a little sparkle but not too much.

To put it simply, I absolutely love Dolce and I think you will too!
