Summertime Beauty with Clarins

If you follow me on Snapchat, then you already know that I have a major love for the facial oil trend that is currently happening in the beauty space. Morning and night, I pretty much lather my face in oil and it’s basically the highlight of my day.  I know…I sound crazy…but I’m beauty obsessed.

Since falling madly in love with facial oils and the official change in season, I knew it was time to venture outside of the box and see what other oil products I could incorporate into my summertime beauty routine. June thru August, I am highly focused on simplicity in my beauty routine and using products that really add value to my skincare routine. It’s already hot enough outside…why not wear products that are naturally going to enhance your summertime glow…those are my thoughts. So rather than wearing a ton of lipstick, I’ve decided to change it up and transition to Clarins Instant Light Lip Oil. Y’all, I love Clarins. I swear they cannot make a bad product. Again, it’s a French beauty brand and the French know their beauty stuff.

While I know the tube kinda reminds you of the lipgloss tubes from middle school, I’m here to tell you that this product is sooo much more than a lip gloss. In fact, it’s not actually even in the same playing field as our middle school lipgloss. What I’ve come to enjoy most about this product thus far, is that you can use it as a hydrator prior to applying your lipstick, use it to add a little ship to any lipstick or simply wear it alone! Oh, and the applicator is BEYOND. Perfectly velvetly, which makes application even more lovely. #winning.
