I’m finding it incredibly hard to believe that this is the last weekend before Christmas. I think I would like to go ahead and put my request into Santa and ask for next December to go by super duper slow. I feel I haven’t had the opportunity to really marvel in the season, but that’s ok! In the words of my niece Rae “Candy, that’s just life.” 7 year old wisdom. Gah, the kid is incredibly smart!
While things have been rather crazy, there has not been a shortage of holiday festivities. Lots of parties, soirees and weddings happening this season, which definitely makes the season bright! As you guys may know, I take my holiday style pretty seriously. Seriously in the sense that I really enjoy getting dressed up all fanciful and enjoy a nice mocktail for the evening. I’ve always been a firm believer in taking existing pieces in your wardrobe and giving them holiday flare rather than buying something new each and every year. However, there are a few unique ways that you give your look that little bit of extra holiday spice such as adding a nice bold lip color, a new piece of statement jewelry and mostly importantly, a new fragrance.
