The race to 30 is in full-effect people. I’m just 28 years old, but let’s be honest, I’ll blink and 30 will be here. One of the things I’ve heard the most from my gal friends and family is that things JUST change once you cross the 30 threshold. While I have a super positive outlook on life, I’m still doing everything in my power to be prepared for this natural life transition that often effects both physically and emotionally. For the “physical” (aka the beauty) side of my over 30 preparation, I am currently killing it in the beauty department by making sure I have a SOLID BEAUTY REGIME that helps me grace a bit more gracefully so to speak. I’m currently into the serums, the facial oils and sheet masks, all that good stuff. In fact, I feel very confident in what I have put in motion for my general skincare; however, there’s always been one area that I haven’t felt quite as confident with…and that’s the eyes.

While growing into my womenhood, I’ve noticed hat both my mom and grandma (my mom’s mom) have some dark discoloration around the eye area. Knowing that most of my features come from them (I have the same hair texture as both my mom and grandma and I have their cheeks too), I realize that there’s a great probability I could inherit these heavy dark circles. In fact, at 28 I’ve already started noticing the discoloration a bit. Having this knowledge, I’ve been on the hunt for beauty products that could help me effectively manage my eyecare. To date, I’ve tried a couple of different things and had yet to feel WOWED until just a couple of weeks ago.

Shortly after my annual August adventure to Atlanta, I received my first ever piece of beauty technology, the SpectraLite EyeCare Pro by Dr. Dennis Gross. Not feeling 100% sure if I actually liked the idea of beauty technology, I began incorporating the SpectraLite EyeCare Pro and you guys…it’s been a game changer for sure. This LED device was made to treat a variety of eyecare concerns…fine lines and wrinkles, loss elasticity and most importantly for me…dark circles! Comprised of 72 LED lights, this wearable beauty technology is completely therapeutic by boosting/activating your collagen production to treat those eye aging signs.

In addition to the SpectraLite EyeCare Pro actually working, I love how portable and functional it is. As a woman, it is exhausting to run to the store or order new product once you are out. With this piece of my beauty routine, I simply plug in the USB charging cord and let her refuel before my next wear. Being a traveller, I was really jazzed to know that it also came with a travel bag so I can easily take it with me on trips and stuff. And lastly, you only have to wear the SpectraLite EyeCare Pro for THREE MINUTES. The self-timed technolgy is completely hands-free, which means you have the freedom to do what you need to do while still beautifying yourself!

Honestly, I could go on and on about how insanely cool this technology is, but I think it’s important that you experience the wanderlust for yourself! You can buy the SpectraLite EyeCare Pro from a local Sephora or Sephora Online. In fact, I’ve linked the exact details you need right HERE. Also, don’t hesitate to reach out if you have more specifc questions, as I am happy to answer them. You gals know that I’m beauty product obsessed and I believe in spreading the love one product at a time. Or I guess in this case, I should say one piece of beauty technology at a time.
