As we grow older in our relationship and become busier with other life task, it appears that our date nights are fewer and far between. Not a bad thing, just a life thing. However, when we do get the chance to pencil in a date night, I love to take the time to make sure I’m feeling and looking my best. For me that starts with a good perfume.
Much like my love for fashion, my love for perfume started at a young age. My mother and grandmother always completed their look with a splash of perfume on the necklace and a touch on the wrist. Yes, I was that 6 year old gal wearing her mom’s perfume to elementary school. I vividly remember it making me feel extra cool and feminine to have a spritz of perfume on. Nearly 22 years later, I still have that same feeling. A touch of perfume paired with an outfit I love makes me feel extra put together.
A perfume that I’m currently loving to get ready with (especially for an evening out with J) is Angel Etoile des Rêves by Mugler. With notes of Mandarin, Praline and Red Fruits, Patchouli/Vanilla and delicate White Musk, it simply screams romantic. Not to mention that it comes in the most darling glass bottle with the old-fashioned spritz pump. This perfume is indeed fragrant, so you just need a touch and you are bound to leave a lingering angelic note of romanticism.
